Rose Cottage manager Mary Mooney and artist Olivia Hassett applied in 2019 to the Adelaide Community Health Initiative Scheme.
Their project; to run a series of Co-creation art sessions for clients living with a dementia in Rose Cottage, an Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland Day Care Centre, was one of the ten projects awarded funding for 2019 from the Adelaide Health Foundation.
“The adelaide community health initiative scheme (CHIS) aims to assist local community healthcare organisations which specifically provide a service or supports within the healthcare field.
The scheme is designed to provide support for not-for-profit and charitable organisations, located primarily within the Dublin 24 area and benefiting the Dublin 24 community.”
