This is the first art pack in the series of eight. Funded by the Adelaide Health Foundation, supported by ASI, and designed by artist Olivia Hassett this art pack introduces the joy of working with watercolour paints.

I am so excited to say that as of the middle of November 2020 this first art pack has been delivered to the clients’ homes in recent days.  The next art pack will be delivered in a few weeks’ time.

As the inaugural art pack, ART@home1 took a lot longer to develop than the rest of the series.  Various extra elements had to be included to support the project as a whole.

A see-through plastic folder was included so that the clients and carers could keep their finished and work in progress artworks in one safe place.

I also sourced 60 cardboard frames so that both the carer and client could continue to talk about and enjoy seeing some of their finished artworks on display in their home.

Finally, I took a few sheets of large A1 size heavy brown card and cut them into 60 A4 sized pieces so that both client and carer could not only protect their work area but keep their sheet of paper from moving (by sticking it to the card).  In fact, the contrast in colour between the card and the art paper helps the paper edges to be seen easier!
