Workshop in progress images:

To start this workshop I began by asking one of the clients to choose a technique that they would like to see demonstrated from my technique board. See image above:

Using different colour paper we then all tried to make paper pieces with the demonstrated technique. Then another client choose the next technique and we all made a few examples and so on until we had numerous paper elements on hand to work with.

Using different coloured sheets of foam board (see image above – a section of brown coloured foam board is visible in the bottom left corner) everyone (clients and staff members) began to adhere the various paper elements to the board. Each client worked on their own design and ideas, the stories and art works taking shape from their imagination and the pieces of paper in front of them.
