Workshop 3 blog post 3

Samples and preparation for the workshop:

One afternoon I set about experimenting with what could happen if you used balloons and paint together to create artworks. What an enjoyable experience, one I highly recommend for anyone young or old. Some of the images to follow were taken when the paint was still wet giving them a very luxurious texture. Of course when the paint dries the images don’t look as appealing but for me the process was the more exciting and enjoyable part of the making than the final result.

If you used acrylic paint rather than poster or tempura paints the overall finish on the pieces would look a lot better but I chose to stick with the poster and tempura because this was a very messy process and the chances of anyone getting paint on their clothes was very high.
